Flora’s absolute passion for Middle-Eastern dance started 20 years ago.

Oriental music is part of her life and her entire being, her body being her instrument.

 

In Flora’s world, since she’s been a child, art takes an important place. Music, poetry, drawing, cooking, sports and dance filling her everyday life.

She chose Oriental dance for its delicacy, richness, culture and its obvious expression of femininity.

 

In 2010, she starts a new adventure creating her own association “Danse Orientale Montpellier / Ashadah Danse” to promote the art of Egyptian Bellydance through out classes and workshops for people of any age and body-type.

 

She keeps on learning in France and abroad with dance Masters in order to improve her art and knowledge. Before teaching her students how to dance, Flora wants to teach them how to accept themselves as they are and feel more confident.

 

According to her, dancing means loving the music and its composition. Technique is developed by passion and sensitivity.

 

Each melody, each scale, each lyric of a piece of music is important.

 

Everything should be expressed and lived deeply. Thanks to this, technique will be the queen (ou the star)! Everybody can dance.

 

Everybody carries art inside oneself. Because, as simple as it is, every person owns the art of being him/herself.
